Divided we fall, but we all have something in common - Our Eyes Are Open. We can see the bullshit going on around us. We aren't pacified by a flat-screen TV, an SUV and a cubicle closer to the window. We understand that there are other people on this earth besides ourselves, and in its current state, we know that God Bless America bumper stickers aren't going to do anything because the Jesus Christ and God written about in the Bible wouldn't piss on this country to put it out if it were on fire. We're not going to let the bastards burn it down though, are we?

You know what pisses me off most about how ignorant, right-wing nut jobs view our dissent against the Bush administration as "un-American" or "anti-American"? Do you realize that you can't talk sense to someone who believes "the scientists" made up all the evidence for evolution because "the devil" told them to do it? Are you sick of talking, sick of idle protesting, and sick of letting our freedom and our great country slip away into the hands of faceless corporations and sweaty, fat, bald, white men with small dicks, closed minds and big egos? Do you do more than just talk the talk? Do you get goose bumps listening to old Rage Against the Machine songs? Are you ready for a revolution? The Angry Liberal View on Religion

Look, I believe everyone has a right to practice whatever spiritual philosophy or faith they happen to practice. I see nothing wrong with believing in something, even though I don’t believe in God the way a Christian does.

But when you IGNORE the facts and say things like “there’s no such thing as evolution” I have a problem. The problem is – You people are still breeding, and that needs to stop.

When you want to teach MY children that “creationism” is a valid scientific theory, I have a problem. The problem is – Mythology should be kept to Mythology classes. Do you want me teaching your little shithead about Zeus and Thor as “real” historic people?

When you start enforcing your “moral” beliefs (which come from your religion because you are too weak of character to have your god damned morals) on me and society through government, I have a problem. The problem is that you need to focus on your own damn family and leave mine alone!
